ABOUT US

Dr. Meredith Smith is a National Board Certified (NCCAOM) Licensed Acupuncturist and Reiki Master.  She has been in private practice since 2013.  Dr. Smith treats patients of all ages, including newborns and infants.
Meredith received her Doctor of Acupuncture and Integrative Health (DAIH) degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2019 and her Master's Degree in Acupuncture in 2013.  Dr. Smith also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology & Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (2004).  

Dr. Smith has completed clinical training at Boston Medical Center's Newborn, Pediatric and Adolescent Outpatient Departments, Cambridge Health Alliance and the NESA clinic.  

Her doctoral rotations for clinical research included rounds at Boston Medical Center, UMass Medical Center and  at St. Vincent Hospital.  Dr. Smith has also served as a clinical supervisor at the MCPHS student clinic.

Prior to her acupuncture career, Meredith worked for the Massachusetts State Police Crime Labratory and as an EMT in the city of Worcester.  Dr. Smith has an extensive science background and specializes in gentle and non-insertive needling techniques.

We offer Traditional Chinese Style, Japanese Style  and Esoteric Acupuncture treatments catered to each patient's individual needs. 

Afraid of needles?  Non-insertive techniques can be used on patients of all ages.
